MANAGEMENT OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION PROCESSES: A STRATEGIC APPROACH
Abstract
The scientific article highlights the process of digital transformation as a strategic management approach that covers all aspects of a company's activities. The key models of digital transformation management are analyzed, in particular, Kotter's change management model, Agile and Lean methodology. Their impact on organizational culture, business process efficiency and competitiveness of companies is studied. The main challenges that organizations face during digital transformation are identified, among which special attention is paid to the human factor, financial constraints and cybersecurity threats. The author solves a number of tasks, namely: investigates the impact of digitalization on organizational resilience, considers approaches to overcoming resistance to change and determines the most effective methods of managing digital transformation risks. The role of strategic management in the implementation of digital technologies is outlined, which includes the development of long-term strategies, infrastructure audit, assessment of human resources potential and implementation of key initiatives. Examples of digital transformations in the transport sector and logistics are given, demonstrating both the benefits and risks of rapid digitalization. It is concluded that digital transformation is not only the introduction of new technologies, but also a complex process that requires a change in corporate culture, the development of digital competencies and investments in technological infrastructure. It is determined that successful management of digital changes is possible only if an integrated approach is applied, combining technological, organizational and strategic aspects. Tasks for further scientific exploration are outlined, which include studying the impact of digital transformation on socio-economic development, assessing the effectiveness of digital strategies in various sectors of the economy and developing innovative methods for managing digital changes.
