INVESTMENT IN PERSONNEL AS A KEY TOOL FOR FORMING AN ENTERPRISE'S INTELLECTUAL CAPITAL IN THE CONTEXT OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article examines the role of investing in personnel in the process of forming the intellectual capital of an innovation-oriented enterprise. It is substantiated that in the conditions of transition to a knowledge economy, personnel act as the main carrier of intellectual capital and a key object of investment management. The economic essence of intellectual capital is analyzed, its place in the structure of the intellectual capital of the enterprise is determined, and the main directions of investment in the development of human capital are revealed. The main aspects of investing in personnel for the formation of the intellectual capital of the enterprise are determined, which include: corporate culture; talent management; motivation and stimulation; training and development; knowledge management. The components of intellectual capital are formed, which include: human – accumulates intellectual potential, practical experience and professional competencies of personnel, which are the main stimulus for innovative transformations; organizational – represents a set of institutional mechanisms, the architecture of internal business processes, corporate culture, as well as management systems and information base, which in synergy determine the operational efficiency of the business entity; market – integrates the external communication links of the enterprise, its image assets and the system of relations with counterparties and consumers. It is important to understand that intellectual capital is not a simple sum of personnel knowledge. It is a synergistic system where human capital is a dynamic driver, and organizational capital is a stabilizing platform. Without proper investment in corporate culture and management systems (organizational capital), the high intellectual potential of individual employees remains unrealized and is not transformed into the property of the enterprise. The results of investing in personnel in the context of the formation of intellectual capital and innovative development of the enterprise are determined: an increase in the level of human capital of the enterprise; strengthening the ability of personnel to generate innovations; formation and development of the structural capital of the enterprise; increasing the innovative activity of the enterprise; reducing the innovation cycle; reducing the risks of innovative activity; forming an innovative corporate culture; increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise; increasing the market value of the enterprise; optimizing investment decisions; increasing the efficiency of using other resources of the enterprise; ensuring sustainable innovative development of the enterprise; reducing staff turnover and preserving intellectual potential; forming the strategic flexibility of the enterprise. It has been proven that effective investment in personnel ensures the growth of the enterprise's innovative activity, increasing its competitiveness and creating long-term strategic advantages.
