CONCEPTUAL PRINCIPLES OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR ENHANCING OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY AND MARKETING INTEGRATION
Abstract
The article presents a comprehensive analysis of contemporary approaches to organizational management that integrate process-oriented and project-based methods within the context of digital economic transformation, increasing external environmental dynamism, and rising demands for managerial efficiency and strategic adaptability. The study examines the evolution of theoretical foundations of process management and project management, identifying their functional characteristics, areas of application, and managerial advantages. It is demonstrated that the isolated implementation of either process-oriented or project-based approaches significantly limits an organization’s strategic potential, reduces its capacity to respond rapidly to market fluctuations, and diminishes its crisis resilience. In contrast, their integration generates a synergistic effect, ensuring an optimal balance between operational stability and flexibility in strategic change, enhancing resource management efficiency, and improving risk mitigation capabilities. Special emphasis is placed on the role of modern digital technologies, including Business Process Management (BPM) systems, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, and advanced analytical platforms, which establish closed-loop management cycles between processes and projects, facilitate real-time monitoring of strategic task execution, and support adaptive decision-making at all organizational levels. The study also investigates the influence of marketing strategy as a system-forming element of management, highlighting its critical role in enabling organizational adaptation to dynamic market conditions, strengthening crisis resilience, and developing sustainable competitive advantages. A conceptual model of integrating process and project management approaches is proposed, taking into account the requirements for flexibility, transparency, and strategic alignment of managerial decisions. This model ensures comprehensive coordination among structural units, cross-functional project teams, and organizational leadership, while promoting efficiency, accountability, and continuous improvement. The findings of the study provide valuable insights for enhancing organizational competitiveness, optimizing resource utilization, implementing digital transformation strategies, and establishing an integrated decision-support framework capable of sustaining performance under conditions of uncertainty, complexity, and high market dynamism. The proposed approach is applicable across diverse sectors and contributes to both theoretical development and practical advancement in the field of modern organizational management.
