THE INSTITUTIONAL DIMENSION OF THE ECONOMY OF THE FUTURE
Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the institutional dimension of the economy of the future. Since the institutional dimension involves clarifying the nature of the institute, institutions, institutional architectonics, institutional modernization and institutional transformation, the article explores the essence of these concepts. The authors systematize the types of institutions and functions of institutions, consider the differences between the institutional environment and institutional architecture, as well as institutional modernization and institutional transformation. The paper reveals the conceptual aspects of structural policy, considers the role of civil society and business communities in the economy of the future. A model of the institutional dimension of the economy of the future has been developed, which is based on digitalization and the knowledge economy, includes consideration of external environmental factors that affect institutional transformation and provides for an assessment according to economic, social, political, legal, process and technological criteria. It is proven that institutional transformation is a complex process that occurs under the influence of numerous external factors, which are systematized in the article. The authors single out the following factors: political, economic, social, cultural, geopolitical, legal, environmental, international, infrastructural, conjunctural, natural and geographical, behavioral, resource, informational, time, technological and technical. The conditions of Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 are considered, as well as the elements and specific features of the knowledge economy environment. Since the role of civil society and business communities is increasing in the conditions of the knowledge economy, the main conceptual aspects of their influence are outlined. The main tasks of business communities are given, which act not only as objects of change, but also as active subjects that shape reforms, lobby for necessary changes and provide feedback on their implementation. The subject of the article is the process of institutional dimension of the economy of the future, the object is the mechanism of institutional dimension of the economy of the future. The novelty of the study lies in the development of a model of institutional dimension of the economy of the future, which provides for ensuring the transition to effective institutions in the process of institutional transformation and includes such key factors and conditions, the observance of which indicates the success of the process of changing institutions in society.
